3 paid referrals = 1 free Pro month. Credits accrue automatically when someone you referred starts a paid Pro subscription. No cash-out, no tax form — just free time on Item Value Checker.
Up to 12 months stacked. If you refer enough people for more than 12 free months, get in touch and we'll work out a custom ambassador arrangement.
First-touch attribution, 30-day window. When someone clicks your link, a first-touch cookie sticks for 30 days. They count as your referral even if they sign up later from a different device.
Application at next renewal. When you have one or more months pending, the credit is applied as a Stripe coupon at your next renewal cycle. You don't need to do anything — the operator processes credit redemptions weekly.
What counts as a paid referral
- A new person clicks your
?ref=u_xxxxxxxxlink. - Within 30 days of that click, they start a Pro subscription (the free trial doesn't count — they have to convert to paid).
- You and they are different people. Self-referrals are detected by email match and silently dropped.
- Each referred user counts once. Re-subscribing after a cancellation doesn't double-credit.
Sharing tips that actually work
- Reddit comments on “what's this worth?” threads in r/Flipping, r/WhatIsThisWorth, r/Mercari, r/poshmark. Don't post a self-promo thread — comment with the tool as the genuine answer to someone's real question.
- YouTube video descriptions. If you make reselling, thrifting, or flipping content, drop your link in the description with a sentence about what it does.
- Facebook groups for resellers. Many groups allow tool mentions when relevant. Read each group's rules first.
- Blog posts and listicles. If you write about resale tools, include the link in your “tools we use” section. The press kit has brand assets and pre-written copy if it helps.
- Estate sale and thrift store communities. Pickers, antique dealers, and Goodwill regulars all need this tool but most don't know it exists yet.
